The Summit State School library is a welcoming and well-resourced space that supports a love of reading, research, and lifelong learning. Completed in mid-2011, the library has continued to evolve to meet the needs of our students and the modern curriculum.
Our library offers a rich selection of both fiction and non-fiction texts, catering to a wide range of reading levels and interests. Students are encouraged to borrow books each week, with the support of their teacher and our library coordinator. From picture books and chapter books to reference materials and high-interest nonfiction, there's something for every reader.
The library space also features a variety of board games, puzzles, and construction materials that students can use during wet weather or indoor playtime. It provides a calm and flexible space where students can read, build, explore, and enjoy quiet play with their peers.
The library is more than just a place for books, it's a vibrant hub for curiosity, imagination, and discovery.
