Getting to and from School
Most of our families drive their children to school each day, but we also have options for bus travel and travel support available for eligible families.
The Maryland School Bus services The Summit area and operates along a set route. Many students who live along this route are entitled to free bus travel. If you think your child may be eligible, please contact the school—we can provide the relevant forms and help with the process.
Families who live a certain distance from the school (as set by the Department of Transport and Main Roads) may also be entitled to a conveyance allowance to assist with transport costs. Again, we're happy to help you apply.
There is also a footpath that leads from The Summit township straight to the school, making it a safe option for children who walk or ride to school.
Children travelling by bus must follow the Code of Conduct for School Students Travelling on Buses. We work closely with families and the bus service to ensure safe and respectful travel for all students.
If you have any questions about travel options, bus eligibility, or conveyance allowance forms, please contact the school office on (07) 4683 2333.
