The Summit Sports Day

Last Friday was a sea of blue and yellow as Sapphire v Topaz for The Summits annual sports day. Students tried their very best competing in the track and field events, and it was a close competition between the houses all day. Students cheered and supported one another on the day and their great sportsmanship was rewarded with a first time in history draw. The parents v teachers race was a hit with the students (not so much the participants after a few minor strains during the race). Our 9 to 12 year olds will now compete in the C Schools Athletics Carnival on Monday the 6th of August.
